Christmas at the pub begins...
There’s a moment every year when the pub starts to feel a little more magical. The lights are twinkling, the fires are glowing, the first festive drinks are being poured and Christmas is officially on its way.
From 19 November, our festive menu arrives at The Artichoke, bringing all the flavours of the season to the table. Whether it’s the first Christmas catch-up of the year, a long-overdue get-together or simply an excuse to settle in somewhere cosy, this is where the festivities begin.

11th December
Carols at the pub
There are few things that feel quite as Christmassy as carols, a cosy pub and a room full of people singing together.
Join us at The Artichoke for a wonderfully festive evening of Christmas carols, good company and plenty of festive cheer. Bring the family, gather your friends, grab a drink from the bar and sing along to some of the songs that make this time of year so special.
A simple Christmas tradition, and one of our favourite evenings of the festive season.
19th November - 24th December
The big red postbox
From 19 November to 24 December, children can use our Big Red Postbox to send Christmas wishes to Father Christmas or share some festive cheer with a local care home. Write a letter to Father Christmas, or make a Christmas card for a care-home resident. Bring it along and ask our team where to post it.
31st December
New Year’s Eve
We will be serving a delicious 3 course set menu and then partying the night away with live music!
